Raining Like Another Day Poem by Malabika Ray Choudhury

it's raining uninterrupted from previous night!
looks like no plan to stop soon.
it's a good day of promising
myself - nothing will be done!

I will just sit and gaze, sit and ponder,
beside my panoramic window,
watch dripping rain, drizzling rain,
And receive no phone-calls.

let's close the planner,
there are always plans,
on the tall evergreens and the charming maple,
let me enjoy the gleaming raindrops!

it's foggy, it's misty,
it's a day when I recall
a day very special, of getting drenched and loving it,
the euphoric day of all!

being soaked by pouring rain, never felt happier,
a charming boat, the mesmerising falls,
and all that mattered was the company,
and the fervent ecstatic joy!
