R-ain and chill are gone;
E-venfall yields to the day;
N-ight shadows disappear,
A-fter the dusk fades away.
M-ake twenty-fourth February
A-ble to bring warm light;
E-arly morn has broken to take away the twilight.
A-s the beacon is coming out,
L-et him bathe your heart;
C-rimson sky shares the color,
A-s the dark and gray depart.
N-ice words are gladly penned,
T-houghts come from within;
A-ccept my one acrostic,
R-ead my rhyme
A-s written.
