If you're realizing it
it's too late
Too late to search for me
too late to wait.
In everyone you see
you'll find a part of me
But love so pure
has faded with time's decree.

Waves crash rain falls
seasons come and go
Autumn 🍂 winter ❄️ spring summer
all the same, you know
Yet in memories you've been left behind
No more rhymes no more lies to unwind.

You've played too far
and far enough it's done
A goodbye without words
no need for fun.
Leaving behind no trace
you've walked away
Out of my life
out of our yesterday.
