Reason And Passion Poem by Ravi Kopra

Reason And Passion

Among the hills
in the shadows of
green poplars in the meadow
we lie down in the cool breeze
see swallows in the sky
feel peace and serenity of meadows
turn on our sides, wrap each other
into our arms, look into each other's
eyes, our hearts smile in silence
and say: O God, how peaceful, blissful,
for us to be together in this universe of us.

When she rages in anger
of a dark thick thunder,
lightening strikes, tornadoes
uproot our roots, scatter us asunder
passion takes over reason
move us miles apart, we say:
It's time to rest and reason.

Passion follows reason
Reason, passion,
We live in peace, harmony
serenity in nature. All natural.
