The one tested.
Kept arrested and confined,
To depths of re-occurring disappointments.
With little sleep or rest to get.
And on a daily basis holding your breath.
Fearing the next step taken.

You!
Feeling the only one left,
To offer your assistance given to others.
Just to get unexpected disrespect.
Undeserved yet to accept rejection.

You!
The only one to have experienced,
What it was to witness...
A going through to prove to yourself,
How faith kept can undo...
Obstacles placed on your path,
To face.
Not to take anymore and remove.

Knowing you as you do.
Regardless of what others may believe,
Heard in whispered ears.
Received from gossipers...
Doing their best to spread rumors deceived.
You!
With your head held up and not down.
Identity intact.
And not a frown found on your face to fake.
Earned what it took to take,
For your reason to smile.
