Red Tears
Dark clouds linger upon the sky
It sits in company to my mortal pain,
Like that of a slow flowing stream passing by
Sadness and sorrow with no one to blame.
Lost within a sea of waves
My soul of darkness I silently profess,
A heart once whole, now twisted and torn
I'm helpless, alone, a worthless mess.
As each day end and darkness draws
Stars don't shine on this blackening sky,
The devil toys with all my flaws
This silver blade stays by my side.
Rose-tinted nostalgia all around me has grown
The flesh rather bleeds than sit unrest,
Love has descended into a brutal war
In darkness I wait, in silence, depressed.
I've stop looking back at yesterday
Tears run red across my face,
As emptiness and pain hold me captive
My eternal beauty it erased.

i respectfully disagree. your red tears are a testimony to your sensitivity and beautiful nature. I believe they shall serve as tracks for lovers to follow. they have been etched in the stones of eternal mountains, a seal of your beauty and never to be erased. the annals of time shall keep them guarded in its memory.
