Refreshing Rain
Fall upon me,
Poetry
Embrace me,
Surround me
Like refreshing
Summer rain,
Uplift my spirit
When all seems useless
And in vain
When Life hurts,
From the bruises
Of some hidden pain,
When all that's left
Are memories of dreams,
Once dreamt,
Never obtained.
