Rejuvenating Our Mind Poem by David Harris

Rejuvenating Our Mind

Rating: 5.0

We close our eyes
and into sleep fall
rejuvenating our mind
so filled with abstract thoughts,
storing away what we want
in the store of our memories,
casting aside the unwelcome bits
and burying deep others
before we awake afresh
to start all over again.

Good title for an intriguing subject David - - sleep - which 'knits up the ravelled sleeve of care' certainly can rejuvenate if we yield to it's medicine - - a fine verse... warm wishes from Fay
