I have shared my time with you,
while I lived I have prayed with you
I sang with you, laughed with you,
I blessed you with my love
and enhanced the faith we held;
today when I am gone
remember me for the words I spoke
for the works I have done
and all that I have strived for
to keep those hills and fields
to keep those mountains and trees
to keep those rivers and shores
for our children of tomorrow;
let them drink clean waters as they grow
let their lungs fill with clean air everyday
these are the commitments
you have to uphold and adhere
as I have sacrificed myself
to preserve what I could
while I lived, while I died,
tomorrows now belong to you.
