Make your resolutions now,
don't wait for tomorrow,
as yesterday has not allowed you to conquer,
today does not display what you have lost,
but you alone know what you deserve to do,
you alone know what can help you grab peace;
don't let opportunities of victory fall asunder;
in tolerance seek, in patience await,
with empty heart ask, with tears pray,
for that is where you have failed,
you have asked in arrogance,
you have sought in selfishness,
you have thought in rivalry and revenge;
what is your worth if you are not blessed?
what will you get if you are not destined for it?
what will you aspire if in one day you will lose it?
Keep up those hopes of life, respect it,
value the existence of others as much as yours
for life is a big wave that rises, takes you up
brings you down, hits the rock, recedes
and takes you away in just one moment of time,
while on the shore stir those unfulfilled dreams.
