Remembering Mom Poem by Randy McClave

Remembering Mom

No one loves as much as a mother
There is no one and no other,
Remember she is someone's amazing daughter
Sadly to which many has fought her.
In life she will always put her child first
Whether it comes to clothing, food or to thirst,
For them she'll fight both guns and a knife
And many times she'll relinquished her own life.
She'll fight her's or any ex's as well
For her children she'll go through a living hell,
And she's already prepared to make a stand
Against any woman or man, no matter how grand.
No one, but God can see her broken heart
When her child hurts her, or does depart
And then when her child listens and/ or believes in lies
A part of a their mother's soul then softy dies.
For her child she is always excited and proud
She'll always scream to the world of their victory so loud,
And when a child needs comfort or special care
Spiritually and soulfully their mother is always there.
For every mother I now shed a tear
As I reminisce of my mother so caring and dear,
For me she had cried and also fought
For every victory that I have pursued and sought.
Someday a mother's child will become women and men
With a new generation of life ready to begin,
Then when their rebellious and bratty child are in a qualm
They will then pray for forgiveness as they remember their mom.
