REMEMBERING MY PET, BEFORE GOING TO BED
Where are you going to, my Panter?
It is half past one midnight
come back soon, because you're black and it's night outside
black coloured too
if you don't come back soon
I can't find you in the dark
I worry your going outs
these last days
i'm busy here all the time
been half past 3, half past 4,5,
6....
the cat's special door
gives no sound
nothing comes out
oops! now become half past eight
my beloved is already awake
I told him
never happened like this,
she always returns home
at half past three
now it's already 9 o'clock
I don't think it is OK
Panter is still on her way
this is already Sunday morn
my heart feels saddest and torn
we've been searching for her everywhere
we searched and searched
searched all her favourite places
fifteen years of loyal traces
fifteen years of sorrow, glee
and loving care
if she does not come home,
one night, beware
the shared joys and sorrows
tonight she has not returned
no more tomorrows
hubby said comfortingly
most cats don't come home anymore
they then go quietly and peacefully
pausing in the elysium
to stay after that forever
fifteen loving years at home
now in the elysion-dome
not by accident
finally she made her best decision
to remain in the uplifting elysion....

This is a poem that touches my heart. It is wonderful to have a pet. But when the pet goes missing or dies, it is heart breaking. I fully understand your emotion in this poem, Sylvia. " come back soon, because you're black and it's night outside black coloured too.
Thank you for your valuable response in this poem. If I repeat the THANKS, then it is because this spot is so JUMPY. But I wish to leave some important reactions my side. I am not a one liner responder, sorry Dr. Geeta. But I do not like to give " half full response" . Like you always say Full Vote

REMEMBERING MY PET, BEFORE GOING TO BED Where are you going to, my Panter? It is half past one midnight come back soon, because you're black and it's night outside black coloured too.............
I have written a similar poem under the title: " Leaflets from my life- Gowri - My lovely puppy." Please do read it when you have the time. For remembering your pet, before going to bed.......a huge 10! Your pet cat Panter is safe and secure in Elysion Dome.
I will read that as soonest as possible, Dr. Geeta. For " old" friends I make time, sure. I say " old" because I have seen your performance in the Netherlands, but I regretted that I have not shaken hands with you. But you ARE my friend, that must be said. Thank you for your huge 10!
