Reminisce Poem by Jennifer Birchall

Reminisce

Rating: 5.0

The records are stacked high
Pure quality velvet sheets of sound
The second the needle hits pure silk to the ears
Round and round the turntable spins
Taken straight back to being 15 again
That soulful sound of vinyl will never age

Retrospective acknowledgement of the culture of vinyl records and how using them takes one back to a whole different time of their lives.

it's good vinyl's making a comeback. This is a great penning, brings back a lot of good memories. Loved every word.

Oh, my! Puts me in mind of the Beatles, the Dave Clark Five, The Bee Gees, The Zombies, The Yardbirds, Herman's Hermits- - some of our greatest and best-known bands appeared on vinyl. A pleasant walk down memory lane, free for the taking. Great poem! . A

Too bad you can not see my smile. When the poem returns my memories to the beautiful I'm just smiling funny. I clearly remember my first vinil. Jimmy Hendrix died when I was 14 years old. Then I got his first LP and i wrote my first poem. LP was called: Band of Gypsys. Thank you for dancing the letters of our memory.
