I miss the things I used to do.
All the carefree things from childhood.
What happened to that life I knew?
A time when everything was new;
A time when everything felt good.
I miss the things I used to do.
Life moved along much slower too;
A decent pace I understood.
What happened to that life I knew?
I did the things I wanted to;
I'd repeat them all if I could.
I miss the things I used to do.
That time was better in my view;
It flowed the way I thought it should.
What happened to that life I knew?
A pity all of that is through.
If I could head on back I would.
I miss the things I used to do.
What happened to that life I knew?
i think this is a good poem with good imagery we all miss the days past, we always remember the time that elapsed and you interpret them very good
Well written. Clearly expresses what you are trying to share.Excellent piece
A lovely poem going back to the days when we enjoyed the simple life. Ah! if we could regain some of those days! Good.
For many, youth is a window that once closed is oh so missed. Great poem my friend

I would like to translate this poem
It must have been good old times to be reminiscent of days gone past. Takes one into the past.
