' ' ' ' ' Removal - Tankas

Rating: 2.8

NOW YOU SEE IT...NOW YOU DON’T!

Two men clutching at
nothing until the cyclist
! smashes! through! the! glass!
they had been! CRASH! carrying!
World shattering into shards!
! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

*******

MOVING THE WORLD

Man carries the sky
& a flock of startled birds
across busy road
all framed by the empty frame
he is struggling to carry.

*******

STATUE OF HER FORMER SELF

Venus de Milo
stopping traffic in the street
left there by the man
gone to find his mate...it seems
she’s put on a bit of weight.

*******

NEW FLAT

Eyeball to eyeball
with a big crazy seagull
standing on a cloud
me safe and sound standing on
the 9th floor of this high rise.
