Remove What Has Been Disguised Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Remove What Has Been Disguised

A spoiled child allowed to pout.
Then fall out of control.
Throwing tantrums well known to expose.
Then given their demands,
To receive what it is they wish.
And if done to approve each detail,
That child then creates...
Destruction and havoc.
With expectations,
Others on command will pay for it.
Only to have that 'child',
Place blame to claim without shame.
How they were victimized.
By the ones who tolerated...
Being mentally tormented.
Seldom admitting to heal,
The wounds they endured.
Nor pain to still feel.

"That 'child' you describe,
Will never grow up to become an adult.
Who can be that mentally unstable.
And have their actions go unnoticed? "

Get rid of those deceptions,
You may accept in your mind.
And believe what you 'see'.
Leaving impressions to imitate them,
Left behind.
To then know what is real to remove,
Disbelief that deceives,
What has been disguised.
Right in front of your lieing eyes.

"My eyes don't lie.
I know who fools to dupe and trick,
Whenever I hear it."

Well...
Your ears are doing their job.
Now...
It is your eyes,
Needing to be on the same page.
By not judging a book by its 'coverup'!
