Replaneting Poem by Cheryl Lynn Moyer Peele

Replaneting

Rating: 5.0

Lay your bare feet
upon the earth's breast,
then walk. Dip your
fingers into her brown
skin, impregnate green.
Resuscitate with gales
of oxygen, inhaling CO2.
Exchange umbilical fluids
in this living womb, our
only undying mother.

Cheryl, Nice ... if only there were not over SIX BILLION that won't let that happen ! Do you remember the first ' Star - Trek ' movie? V-ger had a thing about the 3rd planet that was ' infested ' by the carbon based units? I am not a crazed fan ... but, doesn't there seem to be something a bit prophetic about that? B.V.A.
