Republic Lines... Poem by gauri Vyas

Republic Lines...

Rating: 4.0

Colour my heart with patriotism,
A new India starts today...
With joyous pray
AS it is republic day
Today we got law
Justice for everyone
But remember...remember
The fighters who fought
And brought India together
WE fled injustice out of our country
Look at everyone's face with glee
Our tricolour has our culture
In which India lies
But...

DO YOU REMEMBER THE SACRIFICE..? ..?

Selfless people fight for good things for a country but greedy people come to hoard the good for their selfish gains. But a new dawn is coming. Thanks for sharing

Thanks for invoking the spirit of our great Republic though, we had to pay its price both before and after it materialised. Great poem.

WE fled injustice out of our country Look at everyone's face with glee- - it is enlightening to see how many people are alike only living in different countries!
