Let me give the due regard
To the leader of the fold;
He is placed by God to guard
The faith of those who are called.

Let me always consider
The words of God he preaches;
I will be a follower
Of the truth that he teaches.

Let me value the true Church
Headed by Christ the Savior;
Those people who seek and search
Must enter through the one door.

Let me express deference
To the dear Lord Jesus Christ;
I'll give Him my obedience
To attain the promised prize.

Let me revere above all
The only God Almighty;
I will never let my soul
Fall into iniquity.
