Restoring Peace Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Restoring Peace

Restoring Peace

She kisses
Sunflower
Sun shines now
Wallflower
Uncovered
Star power
Discovered

She gifts them
Sunflowers
To grow seeds
Of such love
Uncovered
Star power
Discovered

The Russians
Lay down arms
Time for love
Restored peace

May Putin's heart
Once so bitter
Be thus warmed
To Mother's Love

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was deeply moved by the Ukrainian woman giving the Russian soldiers sunflower seeds to plant seeds of peace. This poem is dedicated to her.
