Resurrection Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Resurrection

Rating: 5.0

I want the essence of yr soul
All I got was a smile among the tears
You thought I was in it for the money
Thinking I was a thief
You couldn't believe that I love at all
But I just wanted you to laugh once again
And not think the world is ending
Just for awhile....
Until the bomb exploded
And our deaths profoundly save us
From all who is evil
For you are my reason to live again
I hope I am yours

The ressurection of love emerges when its pure and true. May the world learn this soon
