Ringmaster Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Ringmaster

Rating: 5.0

Let me be yr ringmaster
And I'll guide you through the circus
Of nuclear bombs and hate
Where love is enemy
And lovers are prisoners
Of this democracy
And become rebels for the true meaning
This circus has become afoul
With injustice
I'll be the one to fulfil yr dream
Of ceasing this chaos
As I lead you to a paradise of calm and joy
Let me be yr ringmaster
With my poetry and music
The harmony will exist

This may be your finest, LeeAnn. In truly desperate times, we may have only our words with which to fight. And those words may prove to be the most potent of weapons...until words can calm, the circus will continue roaming....perhaps visiting every corner of the globe.
