Retracting Steps Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Retracting Steps

Sadness hits me lightening quick,
wrecking havoc, ruining my outlook, taking me through memories I don't want to see right now.
Conclusions being drawn, steps being retracted as tears fall continuously, filling my mind's grief with love left behind.
