Revolution To Submission Poem by Jake Andrews

Revolution To Submission

Unreaching darkness does unsheath his shadow
When the time comes, straight to the gallows
Peasent rejoice in revolt and freedom
Death does rejoice in the rich mans demons
A revolution best in intention
We live in poverty, the people mention
They live in luxury and gold
The revolution is young but the people are old
They will die and the meaning forgotten
fifty years they’ll be back at the bottom, past has gotten
A little bit newer, rich do control
Twelve o’clock reapers on patrol
But never do they rise again
To reclaim what there’s, that was then
Comfort does tame the soul
The fiery heart, now turned cold
The warriors heart finally turned old
An infertile patch, icy and bear
At the bottom of everything, they still wont care
Complacent suicide, a televion set
Affirmative Obediance, an unrighteous law the people let
Freedom Slaughter, the will of the Devil you have met
