Rich And Poor Poem by Shaun Cronick

Rich And Poor

Rating: 4.8

The rich grow strong,
The poor grow weak.
The rich do wrong,
On the poor so meek.

This life is cruel,
This life is hard.
This life can deal,
The odd cruel card.

All men are equal,
Or so they say.
Upon their death,
The rich will pay.

I suppose some are more equal than others. Everyone pays their prize for this life. Good poem Shaun
