Right Poem by Eric Cockrell

Right

Rating: 5.0

silently watching our
full-grown daughters
move about the house,

and their day... doing
and performing simple tasks;
occasional glimpses of

gentleness and random kindness...
i see you... and know, whatever else,
we did this thing right!

A beautiful poem. I think there are many in the world who would benefit from reading this. I have two young children & find the words very meaningful.

There is nothing quite so beautiful as seeing the children, the fruit of our love becoming graceful denizens of the greater world, with peace and kindness in all their motions..nothing better is there?
