Rising In Hues Poem by Soumili Karmakar

Rising In Hues

Rating: 5.0

So here, our moon lights up in the night sky,
So here, our dreams arise in our beholding eyes,
And ears are willing to hear tales of our years,
Where we dreamt and lived and loved our dears.

Sounds of far away rivers;
And footsteps on sands
I hear telling tales under the moonlight, as our stars sang.
Woods beside her writing letters on leaves,
And sending to rivers by lights of dreams.

Admiring boulders and pebbles,
Lights and rains,
Oceans and hills,
Is where I saw the station of my whistling train.

Now, stars are breathing by his side
They ask: "Where have you been, my moon, all this while? "
"The clouds are smiling, as I rise", he said.
"Let us see our blossoms dancing after the rainy days."
Clouds resting in the heavenly blues,
Embracing and painting this world
By shades of evening hues.

Dream, it is, where I was
Life calls me to believe,
It is for you all he thought.
And fate waits at my garden to see you bloom
Hills are singing together to welcome the morning dews.

Here, I close my eyes and saw you smiling here so true,
It was you, if you ask
The morning lights waiting for daisies to woo.

I've been watching the birds fly,
And the melodies of the falling drops
Crystals in the air, Petals of love calling for me to talk.

We spoke and we wrote,
And I heard by my heart.
Now, winds and petals of times will cherish this as an art.
