Rising Sun Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Rising Sun

R-ising sun above the horizon
I-s waking you up from slumber;
N-ovember eighteenth day
A-ims to share a fine weather.
L-et the early rising sun
Y-earn to bathe your heart;
N-ew morn has broken, bringing a sweet, fresh start.

C-old chill has disappeared
A-fter the rain is gone;
B-eacon comes up again,
A-llowing the break of dawn.
L-ights in the blue sky
B-egin to offer free fun;
A-llow the lane to shine
G-leams from the rising sun.
