Juliet in stylish balcony leap, she was but a virgin,
the jury is still out on that one.
Romeo decided to jump ship or the other way who knows
but the lovers crossed but not by stars

there is the space the tempest in time.
role reversal or reversing role
or rolling on beds of straw, secreted in golden closets
imagine! chaos ensuing

they didn't want to be set in amber or jet
so black winking in the moonlight.
parting was not so sorrowful for Juliet
she leapt into bed with her nurse, fandango, in plain sight.

no wonder Romeo kept playing with euphemistic swords
or were they I ask?
dashed off to who where or knows to what secret assignations
with friars and such to linger in secluded nights with knights.

two families rent asunder but then all that sacrifice could have been avoided if they'd just come out.
so curtain falls rent asunder
