The full moon rises, a silver thread,
Binding the sea to the sky overhead.
Velvet night hums with a tender refrain,
Stars spill their secrets like shimmering rain.

Upon the sand, her shadow lies,
A softer echo of her darkened eyes.
The waves whisper low, changing the shape of the shore,
A lullaby sung that I've heard before.

Moist with the heat of summer's embrace,
Her breath stirs the air, a slow, fleeting smell.
The tide pulls forward, it cannot deny,
The longing that lingers beneath the star lit sky.

I turn away, though her presence remains,
A shadow that follows, her sweetness remains.
Her laughter, a bell that breaks the still air,
A siren's call, a song I have heard.

Oh, Rose Marie, with your quiet grace,
Your name a melody time can't erase.
The night wears your beauty like a jeweled crown,
A gift to the world as it settles down.

The stars bear witness, the waves softly sigh,
As you draw near me, I shyly ask why.
The ocean surrenders; so do I now,
With moonlit promises stitched to our brows.

Forever the beach will remember this night,
Two souls in the glow of the soft silver light.
The heat, the tide, the pull of the sea—
And you, Rose Marie, walking with me.
