Running Blind Poem by Rebecca Navarre

Running Blind

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes I feel like I'm
running blind. Don't know
what I'm looking for, or trying
to find. Empty answers, to
empty rhymes. Maybe I don't
want to know the answer, , if
the answer isn't kind...

I certainly understand what you express, there have been days that have felt like years and nights that seemed like they could get no darker. Remember though, friend, that there is always a light in the blindness to which you can run, our Redeemer and Sustainer--Christ! ! ! Brilliantly penned! ! !

Well expressed and a great read as always.

A relatable poem.. I concur with Timber and to your honest sentiments that sometimes we don't know what we are looking for and sometimes we don't want know the things that will hurt us. A very spontaneous write.

To paraphrase some philosophers and spiritual leaders: Look within. The answers are always there. And if the answer isn't kind...look deeper.

This is a human nature, running after so many stuff out of reach, hanging to ephemeral things that will leave us empty in the end.

Deep and simply philosophical.
