Sacred Lotus

Lotus is flower
-that grows in water
-when murky and shallow

The same is with martyrs
-and heroes in news
- (Governments')

Like recent hostages
-Canadian, USA's

To me these heroes are
-grown in murky news
-swim deep in swamp

Nothing is logical!

I researched
-though still obscure
-he is son to lawyer…
-was married to sister
-and daughter of Khadr…
- (third husband!)

All murky
-furthermore
-murkier is time of travel
-she, in her seventh-month
-pregnant?

Who is fool?
-the doers?
-the writers?
-the readers?

This lotus that looks good
This lotus, this sacred
This lotus is dirty
(Sure murky)

And worse is IED
-which has killed four FCs
-in Kurram Agency

-save foreign hostages!
