Sacred Love? Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Sacred Love?

Sacred love?

When revolt turned to change
Shah left and mullahs came
Many chose to escape.

"Go, hurry; don't be late…"
Said lovers to lovers…
"We will join, unite there…"
Promised, encouraged!

But many could not make
This is one among them!

In suitcase was a girl:
"I cannot get passport,
No visa, and airport
Will stop so ship me
To my love…to abroad
As if I am clothes…"

Yes old words are great:
"Love blinds,
Narcotics, kills brain!
Causes hell! "

Plane reached and customs
Opened the sealed suitcase
Inside it a dead was frozen!

Crazy it may sound
Yet love is greyhound
Goes after the shot hunts
Finds, fetches, delivers
At the end no reward! ! !

"Dumb! Unwise! "
Some may say
I call it:
"Sacred Love! "
