A powerful poem with compelling images depicting a sacred place for deep reflective thought. Well crafted!
Rose Marie, I've always treasured the photo that I took of the sacred mountain. And now, in full circle, the photo and this poem will be properly framed. Now that I think of it, I'm going to use the photo for the cover of one of my Kerouac books!
Ironically, long before I even heard of Kerouac, I was visiting Mt. Tamalpais. Unfortunately, my friends and I weren't able to get inside because the road was closed.
