Sandy Claws - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Sandy Claws - Lincoln Park Zoo

Again it's that time of the year,
Xmas at the Lincoln Park Zoo.
We lemurs are full of good cheer
In Primate House adorned anew
With decorations, lights and all.
Early yes, but tiz the season.
Humans scurry to deck the hall.
Must be ready, tiz the reason,
Cuz jolly ol' will be this way,
Checking his naughty or nice list,
Lapping the kids into his sleigh.
We lemurs just cannot resist!

We lemurs like Xmas because
We lemurs do have sandy claws.
