Santa's Lost List Poem by Patricia Denise Newman

Santa's Lost List

There's chaos in Lapland, Santa Claus has lost his list
without this precious paper, someone could be missed
Everyone was searching, looking high and low
where was this precious paper, somebody must know?

The sleigh was standing ready, piled high with sacks of toys
waiting to deliver to all the girls and boys
Suddenly was spotted, somewhat battered, somewhat torn
the precious piece of paper caught on the reindeers horn

With the precious piece of paper safely grasped in Santa's hand
he jumped into the waiting sleigh across the sleeping land
Delivering the presents, (and nobody was missed)
a Happy Christmas Day for all, thanks to Santa's Christmas List.
