After death and to long loves forgotten,
Will I still remember you.
Twilight's dream's,
Dream's of love, we both left unfinished.

I cannot wait here somewhere there,
While you still love someone here.
And the whispers to her from you that I hear,
Are not those of love about us, I must bare.

could dark blue (your 'Topic') allude to Teasdale's possible depression leading to her suicide? a former 'love' of hers had committed suicide two years before she did. and interesting poem, sir! i see PH has 316 poems of Teasdale, who is listed as #38 in PH's 'top 500'. i wonder how many of hers you have read. bri :) yeah, seems like the poet might be in a depressed mood or trying to create one at least in the poem, which supposedly is about STT. but is Sara the one speaking or the one being spoken of? ? ? well done. i wasn't sure if you wanted bare or bear, so i left it alone.

ah! a new-to-me Topic here: dark blue. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - THE FOLLOWING IS THE MESSAGE I SENT MINUTES AGO TO YOU: James, i'm assuming this poem is an offering for January's showcase. and, assuming so, i am including it as #15, the usually-last poem in January's Section A. Thanks. after reading it two or three times [AND after reading a Wikipedia article about her, including her suicide] i believe i understand it well enough to satisfy myself. i also plan to put one of her poems after yours in the showcase; it shall be a special, one-time-only #16. this is her poem, from the Wikipedia article: (perhaps you are familiar with it) I Shall Not Care WHEN I am dead and over me bright April Shakes out her rain-drenched hair, Tho' you should lean above me broken-hearted, I shall not care. I shall have peace, as leafy trees are peaceful When rain bends down the bough, And I shall be more silent and cold-hearted Than you are now. ======================= i shall get rid of a couple of your unneeded apostrophes and keep a needed one. ha ha. bri ;)

love is the dream, whispers of another lover a nightmare, unless we embrace love as all comforting all nurturing
