Sarcopenia Poem by Ima Ryma

Sarcopenia

Rating: 5.0

'Sarcopenia' my doc told me
Is what my aging body's got.
Comes from Greek for flesh poverty,
Guess my muscles are poor a lot.
Causes for sarcopenia's still
Watched to be better understood,
But the older I get I will
Be more prone than the younger would.
Having sarcopenia now is
Termed as a muscle loss disease,
So that doc is minding my biz
Puts me a little more at ease.

Doc told me that it would be wise
To do more proper exercise.

Good advice. And keep writing, it's good therapy for your hand!
