According to righteous morals;
Respectiing all mankind without racism!
Yearning always for righteous works;
Under the umbrella of righteous laws.

I was drawn to read this piece by the title SARYU, a holy river in India. But I don't know if that has anything to do with the poem, some points raised by you do connote to the events around the river.
