Say It Poem by Deluke Muwanigwa

Say It

Rating: 5.0

Be careful what you are told as the truth
Human beings are morbid peddlers of unruth
Always slanting the truth for own purpose
Truth hangs in limbo in the smoke of lies on purpose
I have met preacher man twisting truth to suit a narrative
So it is important to know that truth is relative
Scriptures and history books are perfect records of wishful unreality
Convoluted reality

Even in this day of tech advancement
People brazenly lie for advantage
Weapons of mass destruction
The truth in reconstruction
See where these lies led us
And not a single person makes a fuss
Everyone carrying on as if the manufactured consent is right
Truth bombed out of sight

For a bard
It is hard
Not to venture an opininion
Putting history on a rack and pinion
Causing some discomfort
The truth come forth
You may become the proverbial renegade
Smile and drink your energade

Dont let truth die
No lie
Let those who cry cry
Those who try try
To bend the truth for profit
Bard have non of it
You might be treated like a pariah in future
A misfit living in discormfiture

So be it
Say it

I have met preacher man twisting truth to suit a narrative....I too have met afew like this So it is important to know that truth is relative....as the new covenant is sown into our heart. As we understand the word of God for us. Scriptures and history books are perfect records of wishful unreality Convoluted reality
