Scarred Poem by Heart of Ice Die Die Die

Scarred

He grabbed my wrist
and pushed as hard as he could.
He was angry
over small.
Blue and brown met
with an explosion of emotions.
He was filled
with a deep anger.
I was filled with fear and realization.
With memory.
He could have killed me right there.
An image flashed,
for just a second.
That's all it took.
What I saw was familiar,
but I'd never seen it.
Not in this life.
That's it,
and now
I'll never be
the same again.
Another scar added,
another part lost.
