Scorched - Poem by Ciera Ivey

The flames that scorch
They're near the fire
It's just like a torch
My feelings expire
They're all burnt up
They're under the ashe
All that's left
Was gone in a flash
You burnt it all up
And then you were gone
Without a warning
And now I'm alone

i've never heard getting burned described so eloquently.
