Dakota Manning

Sculpture - Poem by Dakota Manning

Standing here
Colder than an ice sculpture
Two hands by my sides
Two feet on the ground
Two eyes on your back as you walk away
My vision shifts to the concrete
There lies my beatless organ
Heartless, I stand here
Heartless, you keep walking

please, don't be offended coz i don't mean to,

i just don't really appreciate sad poems without a possibility of hope or goodness but if i will base it in the rules of poetry mostly the rule 'keep your texts poetic', it is good!

Oh the power of heartbreak, the beauty we write from it.
    Sad yet incredible.
