Sea Of Adventures Poem by john tiong chunghoo

Sea Of Adventures

Rating: 5.0

the physical body
gets bored of itself
eventually gives up itself
though this soul is very much
excited with life

the body is the shell
that got washed ashore
- with its dweller missing
somewhere lost in the sea
of adventures

I love this poem. It has a lot of truth hidden inside not always visible to just anyone who is lucky enough to read it!

notable address of tough subject matter. short stanzas seem well suited to this piece. especially fond of the direct metaphoric revelation, Mr. Chunghoo. -Tailor

John, I really like the second stanza but the first one seems to be too blatant. I think you could work on making it a little more obscure...and...well, poetic. :) Raynette
