Seasons Kaleidoscope Poem by Ben Gieske

Seasons Kaleidoscope

Rating: 3.3

shimmering moonlight
tethered boats
rocking with the stars

slowly unwrapping
tangled in early spring mist
night frees its captives

ivy and morning glory
intertwine –– sharing the moment
a taste of clover honey

beautiful blossom
proudly you show your beauty
hold me in your bloom

moving clouds
ships on a journey
wandering
seeking answers
sometimes that’s enough

all this summer day
the sun plays hide and seek
summer heat

somewhere a place
where winds blow softly
like knowing your heart
joyful mystery

shedding outer skin
nakedness within
only love can see

again and again
your sweetness holds me
through winters gloom
together we cling

around the campfire
embers in glowing hearts
warmed-up toes

day after Christmas
jelly beans and memories
all the colors

So many glorious images Ben. My favorites are 'warmed-up toes', the last jellybean piece and 'again and again, your sweetness holds me, together we cling'. You have done a magnificent write on each one of these... 10 Karin Anderson
