Secret Poem by Victoria Ritchie

Secret

She knows about us,
Why didn't we hide,
All the secret kisses,
We tried to deny.

Those midnight meetings,
In our own special place,
Touching each other,
Our love wrapped in lace.

Maybe we should of,
Kept our feelings hidden,
So we wouldn't of felt,
The passion that's forbidden.

We can't turn back,
The clocks on that wall,
So we must forgive and forget,
Take blame and stand tall.
