Secrets Of Nature Poem by Dave Dafes

Secrets Of Nature

Riddles in the dark
From ancient times bark
But we did not hark

Footsteps in the shore
Bath by the waves daily chore
Reminds of those gone afore

Drums in the wind
Flows from nature's rind
Causes us to prescind

A song of the night
Sang by the avian knight
Our hearts ignite

Eyes of the stars
Shines from afar
When the clouds are ajar

The fragrance of flowers
Spewed from natures bowers
A reflection of Eden's towers

The euphoric buds of Summer,
Blooms a blissful ambiance
That ease our toils.

The splendor of Spring,
Beam before our eyes
But no artist could paint.

The Serenity of Winter,
It's lustrous flakes
None could explain.

Such are the secrets of Nature
They besiege us,
yet none could fathom.
