See Me Leaving In Your Eyes Poem by Baby Blue

If this is what i was always heading to
if i was never going to be in the heart of you,
i wish that i could have seen, wished to have known,
so that i would have guarded...would never have shown:
the true feelings that swelled within me,
and all the emotion that i allowed you to see.
so now that i know how i was mistaken,
i turn my lonesome gaze up ward to the skys
to hide these tears, hiding each cry,
so as not to see me leaving in your eyes.
knowing that your reaction will cause my heart to die.
