Self Medication Poem by Angel Marie

Self Medication

Rating: 5.0

Crazy girl
All jumbled up inside
With a sweet tooth and a craving
For the candy that get's her high

Her life has become a blur
She's running ahead at full speed
Jumping head first into euphoria
Temporarily filling a need

She walks a straight white line
It takes her to the moon
Where the world seems so much brighter
Everything will be okay soon

Crazy girl
All jumbled up inside
Waking up one day
Barely recognizing her own life

Excellent poem. It makes me think of the hazards of crystal meth.
