Selfless, Compassionate Veterans Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Justice and liberty keeping us free because our Vets have
fought and won this right for us, so proud of our Veterans
as they continue to rescue people and children in the U.S.
and the all over the earth.

Even after coming home from war-torn countries, selfless,
compassionate, loving and caring, testing and challenging
the world around them, they continue with their hearts and
souls to be there for others in need.

Circling this environment with heavenly aromas, taking
hearts collectively into their own, giving and creating
values for many people in this world and never tiring
of doing it.

Never thinking of themselves, putting others first, es-
pecially children; music sashaying in and out of life,
a universal language turning people on through the Star
Bangled Banner, our National Anthem and My Country Tis
of Thee.
